My CD had just been sent off to the pressing plant and hopefully I will have it my hands this side of Christmas!

Have recently joined The Darcy DaSilva band from Scotland and also perform with Darcy as a duo.

I have almost finished my debut CD. Playing with me are my old sparing partner, guitarist, Seth Tinsley; Dave Wood ( Malinky) on bouzouki and guitar; Dan Walsh on bodhran. My 'Old Cheeses' also contribute bouzouki, guitar, whistle, pipes and clarsach.

It will be available from the website so will update when it is ready.

What else have I been up to, quite a bit I suppose. Played at the Aberdeen Youth Music Festival with Chris Merideth etc al and also with Chris, Dave Wood and Chris Lewis at Hexham Abbey Festival in September.

Competed at Newcastleton and won the Open Fiddle Competition and 2nd in the Slow Air/Reel.

Also had a short tour down in Kent playing with Marit Flet which went very well.

Have just started rehearsing with Scottish singer/guitarist/moothie player, Norman Stewart. Norman was one of the leading lights in the Folk Revival days of the late 60s and 70s. It's good to play with some of the older players as they can teach you a fair bit!
